Performance characteristics
1. The valve sealing pair is made of a specially formulated material that offers excellent resistance to temperature, corrosion, and wear.
2. Compact and lightweight, with a simple structure that is easy to disassemble and assemble, suitable for various media, and operating at temperatures not exceeding 150℃.
3. Excellent sealing performance.
4. Low operating torque and quick opening.
5. The switch position is clearly displayed.
6. The installation location and installation angle are not restricted.
Key points for use and installation
1. The pneumatic head operates at a working pressure of 0.4–0.8 MPa, and the working medium is clean, dry air.
For 2-, 3-, and 4-inch butterfly valves, use a pneumatic actuator with a diameter of φ80 and a 90° angle; the output shaft has a square opening measuring 12x12 mm. For 5- and 6-inch butterfly valves, use a pneumatic actuator with a diameter of φ125 and a 90° angle; the output shaft has a square opening measuring 16x16 mm. For 8- and 10-inch butterfly valves, use a pneumatic actuator with a diameter of Φ160 and a 90° angle; the output shaft has a square opening measuring 22x22 mm.
3. The pneumatic head is equipped with Inlet A and Inlet B. When air is supplied to Inlet A (G1/4”), the butterfly valve opens; when air is supplied to Inlet B (G1/4”), the butterfly valve closes. The air supply hose has a diameter of Φ10x1mm.
4. The position indicator of the butterfly valve must accurately reflect the actual position (open or closed) of the butterfly valve.
5. The reserved space for installing the butterfly valve shall be consistent with the thickness of the butterfly valve. For details on the butterfly valve thickness, please refer to the attached drawing.
6. No soft gaskets shall be added between the valve and the flange mating surfaces. Remove any debris from the pipe openings to prevent obstruction of the butterfly valve’s operation.
7. The flange surfaces of the pipelines on both sides of the valve must be parallel and remain coaxial; excessive misalignment is not permitted to ensure proper clamping and normal operation of the valve.
8. The installation position of the butterfly valve should be centered. Pay attention to the tightening sequence of the flange connection bolts and ensure that the force applied is even.
